Beau Theriot, Owner

Beau Theriot, owner of The Treasury & Brownstone Gallery, is an internationally renowned interior decorator who is always acquiring unique art objects, furnishings and continental antiques for his appreciative clientele.  His unique style of decorating first began when he opened The Brownstone Restaurant in the heart of Houston’s River Oaks in 1973.  The décor he chose and installed at the restaurant immediately endeared him to those who wanted the same classic, eclectic, one-of-a-kind décor in their home, ranch, or office.

Jo Ann Laitkep, Gallery Director

As a licensed interior designer, Jo Ann joined the Brownstone Gallery staff in 1998.  With almost 25 years’ experience in the design field, Jo Ann is an integral part of the Gallery and represents its many offerings with style and professionalism.  She is a graduate of The University of Texas with a B.A. degree focused on interior and architectural design.

Jo Ann assists clients with color selections, flooring, draperies, and accessorizing, as well as most all facets of creating a space that is multi-functional and comfortable.  She is cognizant of a client’s deadlines, budget issues, and meeting the client’s expectations.  Drawing from the Brownstone Gallery collection of art, furnishings, and antiques, Jo Ann develops an interior design for her client that has a style and a theme that can reach the eclectic, the contemporary, the traditional, or the avant-garde.
